abandoned properties!

  • Jan. 7th, 2010 at 7:53 AM
So I have a photo shoot coming up next month, and I'm looking for run-down, abandoned buildings in which to do it, preferably within 20 minutes of Gainesville.

I know there's a strip mall just next to Williston, but other than that, I'm at a loss. Anyone know of anything else? I'm not overly concerned with trespassing, lol, since hopefully the buildings will be neglected.

Happy New Year! What better way to celebrate the new year and get it started on just the "right" note than to come out and see a play about alcoholic academics who play SM head games?  More juicy goodness inside )

group fitness classes today

  • Jan. 3rd, 2010 at 10:40 AM
Does anyone happen to know if the group fitness classes for the spring semester start today? SW Rec is closed, but the website says the Student Rec Center is open from 3pm to 10. There's a yoga class at 4, but since I won't be able to call until 3 to see if they're having classes, I thought I'd ask here in the meantime.

ETA: Just got someone on the phone today (Monday). Group fitness classes don't start until Tuesday the 5th, just in case anyone else was wondering.

movies for sale

  • Dec. 31st, 2009 at 12:28 PM
Hey all,

I posted a few weeks ago about selling movies. I've finally gotten around to making a list. Make an offer on a movie or group of movies and I'll see what I can do.

Happy New Year everyone!

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all the posters here. I live out in High Springs and this forum is a valuable source of info about interesting stores, nightclubs, restaurants, parks, and other places to experience when I visit Gainesville.

A friend of mine decided that she no longer wanted the upkeep of a cat, so she offered her to me or she would take her to the pound. I was thinking about getting a cat in the future, but instead I decided to adopt her.

Is there a place that might offer neutering/spaying for a lower price? A vet quoted me over $150 to do it.

Thanks for any help!

Has anyone seen Dr. Robert Skidmore? I'm planning to make an appointment for an acne consultation...
